Customer Review: Rip-Off
i purchased this as a gift for my mother for christmas, when she opened the box the clock was the wrong item, and to top it off, the darn thing doesn’t even have a cuckoo bird, the doors don’t even open!!!! so basically if you want to purchase a cuckoo clock that is totally the wrong item from what is viewed as the display picture, and does nothing more than just tick like a regular clock, by all means buy it.
Customer Review: Disappointed
I ordered this item as a gift for my father and it arrived quickly. At first glance the clock seemed nice. After Christmas my dad set it up in his home and was kind of disappointed. First off, the clocks cuckoo bird is plastic (I think) and very cheap looking. On top of that it does not make an actual cuckoo sound, but more of a bad recording or automated cuckoo sound. Also I had not realized that it was battery operated and that the chains were just for show. Then my father said that the clock stopped working. So I emailed the seller and he got back to me right away with a return authorization number and a return address label. Not sure how quickly I will see a refund, but so far my experience with the seller was very prompt. So I would have to say bad product, but good seller. Because of that I was unsure how to rate it, so I guess I will average the two together, 1 star for product and 5 stars for seller.
